Recently, it has been discovered that service based businesses have been extensively profitable overtime. Case study firms for which such theory is based are amazon.com, eBay and the rest. Also, Brasil has successfully run an economy that majors on service and it has prooven to be very effective.
In essence it is essentially advisable that in whatever sector of business, you should convert it's workability or operation to service based. One of the reasons is that it enables you to diversify from mere production (if it's in the are of technological gadgets and hardwares or any other sector) to customer interaction operations, and service/product development.
